If I was going to be in Milan this Valentines Day, I would be at the Galleria Carla Sozzani to see Guy Bourdin's photography. He was an amazing fashion photographer with erotic shots and set ups that redefined the fashion photograph by creating a narrative scene and capturing that pregnant moment.
Bourdin studied under Man Ray, and Ray's aesthetic can be felt in Bourdin's work. Together with Helmut Newton, Bourdin made the fashion photograph what it is today.
